The Automatic Step Voltage Regulator (ASVR) is designed using advanced technologies to ensure stable and consistent output voltage, even in the presence of fluctuating high input voltages. The ASVR is available in three models, each tailored to different operational requirements, employing cutting-edge technology to efficiently regulate and optimize voltage levels.
3 Models for Varied Voltage Regulation
Key Features:
The ASVR is offered in three types:
- Type A: Features an On Load Tap Changer (OLTC) that maintains the desired output voltage automatically, even when input voltage varies within 15-20% of the rated voltage.
- Type B: Designed for input voltage variations exceeding 20%, this model integrates an OLTC with a star-connected high-voltage autotransformer. This configuration, housed in a single cabinet, effectively regulates voltage by automatically selecting the appropriate tap.
- Type C: Ideal for systems with a pre-existing step-down transformer or when dealing with high transformer capacities 2 MVA. This model is housed in a separate cabinet and features an auto-transformer with OLTC, providing regulated high-tension (HT) voltage to the step-down transformer for optimal performance.
