Our ASVRs are available in three distinct models, each tailored to handle different ranges of input voltage variations with On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) technology for automatic real-time regulation.
Models & Features
Type (a) – Standard Regulation
- Designed for systems with input voltage variation of 15–20%.
- Features OLTC-based regulation, automatically maintaining constant output voltage within the rated range.
Type (b) – Wide Range Regulation
- Engineered for input fluctuations exceeding 20%.
- Equipped with OLTC and star-connected high-voltage autotransformer housed in a single cabinet, ensuring seamless regulation through automatic tap selection.
Type (c) – High-Capacity Systems
- Ideal for installations with a step-down transformer or transformer capacities above 2 MVA.
- Uses a separate cabinet with auto-transformer and OLTC to regulate HT voltage supplied to the step-down transformer, optimizing large-scale power distribution systems.
